For there is more than one perspective on headship , capitation , and decapitation ! And then there is what Jesus does for saints : to restore the proper headship of God to us ! You could even say that …
Jesus Recapitates the Decapitated !
Does that sound too far ” out there ” ? Consider the following :
Gen 3: 14 – 15 :
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Simply enough , satan is the head of the kingdom of evil .
But , I want to be properly and completely RECAPITATED with the saving Headship of Jesus Christ !
Christ is the Head . satan spiritually decapitated Adam and Eve . Christ recapitates !
See Matt 21: 42 :
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
And 1 Cor 11: 3 :
3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Now , is this decapitation thing coming more into focus ? It’s how Lucifer committed spiritual suicide before there ever was a man . He decapitated his rightful spiritual headship . It’s what satan tried to get Jesus to do to himself in Matthew chapter 4 : 8 – 10 :
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Jesus refused to give up His proper Headship of God the father ! If Jesus did not keep proper headship , he could not have saved anyone !
So , as Christians , we want to keep that re – capitation process going all the way through the front gate of heaven . Killing sin ; sin unto death – destroys all .
And consider that in the tribulation , those who worship the beast and take the mark to avoid decapitation physically will lock themselves into eternal spiritual decapitation ! Yes , it’s a double – decapitation fake – out trap ! Devilish to say the least . See Rev 20 : 4 :
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
And Rev 14: 9 – 11 :
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
There is something about the way the mark is taken that constitutes killing sin ; it either profanes The Blood or directly blasphemes the Spirit of God . Perhaps by oath , or by curse uttered via worship of the beast .
As much as satan loves to decapitate , Even more does Christ want to recapitate us all ! Now, that’s love ! Jesus came to make a way for us to be harmoniously restored to the proper headship of God.
